Top 5/ Bottom 5

You may have heard JACK rant about his 7,524,632 things he loves on the radio… Well, now there’s a top 5 and a bottom 5. Here are the top five things 103.1 JACK fm loves about Utah:

5. You just have to love pulling up to Smith & Edwards for your run of the mill gun and random car part shopping spree! You can find just about anything at Mr. Smith and Mr. Edward’s store. The other day, JACK found his missing retainer from 5th grade at none other than Smith & Edwards Country Boy Store.

4. You gotta’ love the fry sauce at Crown Burger. Not so much the Crown Burger on 300 W., but the Crown Burger on Foothill Drive… Mmmm, that’s the stuff. I can feel my arteries clogging now with the thought of a pastrami burger. Crown Burger, City Weekly’s Best Burger.

3. One thing you gotta’ love about Utah is the recreation. You can do anything from scale a mountain, to water ski in a mesquito infested lake, to strap some boards to you feet and cruise down a mountain on them at 60 mph. JACK’s favorite pasttime… searching for those mythed Leprechauns at the Timpanogos cave.

2. John Stockton Blvd. and Karl Malone Drive. Who are these guys? I don’t know, but they look mighty handsome from the looks of the statues outside the Energy Solutions Arena (Still Delta Center in our hearts).

1. JELL-O. Only in Utah would they name an official snack food. And, only in Utah would this snack food be Jello. No. 1 in per capita Jello consumption. Utah, employing Bill Cosby since, well, forever. Click here for the Jello article.

Now it’s time for the bottom 5… brace yourself.

5. You just gotta’ love pulling up to Smith & Edwards and seeing a white van pull up with 30 kids, 3 moms, and… 1 dad. Oh yeah, this is one of the reasons we love Utah!

4. Not so good… too many crappy radio stations. Good thing you’ve got 103.1 JACK fm as a beacon in the darkness that is Utah radio.

3. Don’t you just hate cell phone bills… I mean… how much does it really cost to use that space and air? Once, I went out to the air and space museum, it was just 4 walls… I was really disappointed.

2. The people going 60 in the carpool lane...come on people!

1. The number one thing I dislike about Utah, well??? There aren’t 5. There’s just not that much to dislike!

Be sure to join 103.1 JACK fm at Eric Clapton at the Delta Center Thursday for prizes and free stuff!

Thanks,

103.1 JACK fm
